it's been cold, cloudy and rainy all week! Today was a mix of sunshine, blue skies and fluffy dark clouds. It was really beautiful actually, especially during sunset.

walked with Greg to Albertson's during lunch to get some tea. I am loving Pom's peach tea.

peanut butter chocolate and carrot walnut cupcakes from Sweet Arleen's in Westlake. the peanut butter wasn't mine, but the carrot walnut was delicious! 

right now i have a sudden urge to be weak and contact a guy who could care less if i am dead or alive so instead i am writing this post. i am strong and won't be weak. i will not let a guy's mind games bring me down. i am worth SO much more. :-P I am glad I recognize this..

The Strange

I just had kinda a strange experience...but it could just be me. Sitting in bed, watching the news, when all of a sudden, my iPhone (which is LOCKED...password locked as well) starts playing "Above You" by The Whitest Boy Alive off the album "Dreams". That's never happened, and I don't know how it happened. I haven't listened to that album in months, and when I clicked back on my iPhone it was open to Passion Pit, which is what I was listening to last.

I am confused.


Anyway, I need a new job before I pull an Office Space. Just kidding.... I'm trying though! Two interviews last week. There must be something out there for me, just like, there must be a man out there for me. Things take time and I have to be patient.

I rearranged my bathroom cabinet into a nail polish cabinet! It was a pretty relaxing weekend, minus Friday. Friday I went out to Mary and Mike's, walked down to Sunset Terrace with the crew and had a good night drinking. Saturday I ran some errands, cleaned and organized my room, and today I went to Urban and got the magenta holga 135 cam. It's $29.99 online and was $48.00 at the store, so I went home and printed out this page and they gave me the online sale price! Which means I didn't have to pay for the shipping and wait a week for the delivery! ;-)

fun apps

I love the "Picture Show" app on my iPhone. It will take a photo and add multiple exposures to it! Unfortunately, it only does it with one photo at a time. It's cool though, until they make an app that will allow multiple photos for multiple exposures, I'll continue to play with my split film cam and hopefully soon my holga ( i still need to buy one).

weekend-o-weddings

It was a weekend of weddings a couple weeks ago! First, was Stacey's wedding over in Malibu Lake on September 17th. Katie was a bridesmaid, too! Malibu lake is so beautiful, and I would of never knew it were their if it weren't for Stacey having her wedding in such a nice place. :)

The next day was Liz's wedding! Her and Brett were married on Leo Carillo State Beach. It was BEAUTIFUL. See for yourself...

Such a great time! Great friends! Great memories!

Ahhh, classic coca-cola! There is nothing better then soda in a bottle! My favorite store for such joy would be Rocketfizz. It's so tempting, I have to force myself not to enter the store, or else I walk out 5lbs heavier! They have every brand of root beer, orange cream sodas, cream sodas, grape sodas, etc, all in bottles! Not to mention, every old skool candy you can think of, including a mass amount of salt water taffy.
So, if you are assuming I went their this weekend, you are wrong! I went to an equally great joyous place known as Cupcakery. This is where I bought this bottle of coca-cola, which ended up all over the floor of my car. Friggin pointless piece of shit cup-holders!

p.S. I tried a chocolate cake/vanilla bean frosting vegan cupcake. Very good!!

Sprinkles

Ventured off to Sprinkles Cupcakes this weekend with the lovely Miss Harlow. We waited for about 15-20 minutes in line, however, it was well worth the wait! I bought myself a strawberry and the rest (Chocolate peanut butter, red velvet, and chocolate marshmellow) were for family. The Strawberry is by far my favorite! I do want to try the Chai Latte, Carrot, and Coconut.

I took a walk to the grocery store yesterday to buy some bananas to eat in my oatmeal (that i seem to eat only for dinner) and ended up buying cupcake mix & frosting as well. I ended up making strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my co-workers and friends. I have actually never made cupcakes (besides with krista on 4th of july)  and was actually excited. They turned out so amazingly delicious!!! Next is red velvet...mmmmm!

Randomly found a little white rose laying on the counter of Starbucks tonight. It was meant to be, since white roses happen to be my favorite flower. After searching tattoo ideas, I found this beauuuutiful rose photo on Google images. These colors are absolutely amazing!!!

Vegas

Here are a few pics from my trip to Vegas this weekend. What a fun time! Won $200 bucks, got into Tao, got a lap dance from my co-worker (lol), danced and partied all night! It felt great to get back home though...I am def a homebody!
