Cake
Weekend has been very nice. House party on Friday night. Beer pong and stuff...y'know all that classy stuff. :)
Saturday was a Surprise Birthday/Engagement party for a friend. Greg and I drove out to Pasadena to attend for a few hours. Then drove back into town for another birthday party! I discovered the most amazing thing ever...cake. Vodka..Well, cake flavored vodka. Taste like vanilla frosting. Amazing.

Feeling rather down today. Nothing seems to work out, especially this week. Feeling so confused about so many things in my life lately. Work, guys (singular, actually), the future, and feeling extremely insecure.. I need to get out of this rut.
The past year has actually been pretty good, it's just the past month has been awkward. Maybe moving out of my parents has a bit to do with it. I don't know...
There were a few good parts to the week however (yes let's be positive here!) I got to see Katie and spend some time with her.

Katie & Me :)
Saw my dogs Monday and Wednesday. Thank God I only live 10 minutes away from my family. My family is the most important thing to me. My mom, dad, bro and my little furry animals. The other great part to my week was when I made pumpkin pie pastry's (or pumpkin pie pop tarts).

Unfortunately, I didn't take a decent photo of 'em, since I devoured one before I thought of photographing it. But, let me just say, they were amazzzzing!! I am so tempted to go into the fridge and heat one up as I type!
I hope tomorrow is a better day. I need to stay positive, find thr motivation to be strong and keep myself inspired and happy.

Sweet Dreams,
LC

Hello, pumpkin!
Ok, I don't know why I stopped blogging, but I am back. I knew there was something missing from my life! :)
Anyway, it's the season for pumpkin!!! And because I kick ass, I'm making pumpkin pop tarts tonight! My room mates are going to hate me with all the baking I've done in the past month.

Jerry's Deli is so yum
I got my hair done this weekend! Lightened it up a bit for summer. I like it. Thankfully I've got a tan now, so it helps to not wash me out. Speaking of tan...I got St. Tropez self tanner from Sephora. It works AMAZING!!! I am loving it so very much! :)
Hung out in Westwood with Katie last weekend. Here are some photos..
P.S. We ate at Jerry's deli for lunch. I ate the yummiest mushroom, grilled onions and motzorella cheese pinini on cheddar cheese bread. <3

it's a beautiful mornin'
What a nice day it was today. I took the day off work to clear my mind and relax. This job has sucked out all my energy, so I needed a day for myself.
I watched Time Travelers Wife which was pretty good. I am a sucker for Rachel McAdams movies. Love her. I walked to the local Chinese food place, picked up some Kung Pao and then walked home and enjoyed the deliciousness.
Monday night I went to Target to see if they had Never Let Me Go. Figured they wouldn't, since it's a British film. I ran into my friends younger brother and as we were talking in the DVD section, when out of the corner of my eye, I spotted it!!! I bought it and immediately went home to watch it! It was so good and so sad. I kind of want to watch it again. I am a sucker for any Keira Knightley movie. haha.
Last weekend I went to a BBQ birthday party for a friend. I took Greg with me. Good times. We drank Polish beer. Nom. We went out to Cho Cho San's that night and devoured sushi.
Friday was Good Friday and we had no work, so I went vintage shopping with Shawn out in Hollywood on Melrose. We ate lunch at the Snake Pit Ale House (and enjoyed a couple ale's). I found the cutest vintage leather vest from Argentina and the cutttest 70's baby doll dress with pretty flowers on it. Love.

Gidget
The owner of the company I work for calls me Gidget. Hahaha. Love nicknames. I had no idea who he was talking about until I googled it. So cute. Def a sucker for a 50s-60s film. I just wish I could time travel and go shopping!!!
“There’s no need to miss someone from your past- There’s a reason they didn’t make it to your future” – Unknown
It's been really sunny and warm outside (or rather hot!)
and it's another reminder that summer swimsuit season
is on it's way.
I need to get my butt to the gym and work it out.
I want to actually feel confident in a bikini
and actually wear one this summer.
I had a fun weekend. Partied all Friday night and slept all Saturday.
If I didn't love to sleep, i'd be pissed for wasting my whole day off in bed
but I love to sleep.
I am offically not wasting my time on guys anymore.
I really am just through.
What I will do is go on dates if i am asked
but I will not have any expectations.
I also need to learn to not be so quick to say no.
Just because they are not a certain someone
does not mean it isn't meant to be.
Obviously, me and a certain someone will never be
because he has changed and become someone
I do not recognize.
It's sad when that happens.
Esp when you just really adore 'em
and look up to 'em
and then they morph into a
jackass.
So from now on, I am going to be the best I can be
and just be.
P.S. Loving my Iphone 4 :)

March
Drained. Mentally.
I haven't posted all month. Wow. I suck.
It was a pretty good month, besides today (the last day of it) I got water on my iPhone and it died. I think it's done. It's in a bag o rice right now. It was still working after the water got on it and was luckily able to write down my crush's phone number. Then it went dead.
Oh well, I can use an upgrade and finally get the iPhone 4. It all works out. I'll just be short $200 bux. I will just have to not spend much next paycheck to get back to my saving for my convertible mini cooper. <3
I saw my crush today but he did not talk to me. I got a wave. His co worker, who has a crush on me, talked with me though. I guess you want what you can't have. Although, I am still trying to figure out why the hell I would want a player.
Work is going good. It's busy and stressful, but I am learning a lot and feel more confident in myself.

Diana's last night
My friend Diana is moving to Austin, TX tomorrow morning so we celebrated at Chili's with Jeremy and Shawn last night. We ate a crap ton of food and drank yummy cocktails and took cute Polaroid photos with my Instax. It was a great time and I am very sad that Diana is moving so far away. But, you have to go where the job goes.

My visit to Cielo Drive
I got invited to go to David Oman's house who lives a couple houses down from where my idol Sharon Tate lived. He made a movie about the murders (which i am a lil iffy about since I don't like to focus on the murders. I'd rather create a movie about the lives they all lived) But anyway, Apparently, he gets a lot of paranormal activity in his house and the area so we decided to check it out. I brought my guy friend and my friend Katie. We caught some crazy EVP's which are on Katie's digital recorder. It was a bit odd to go to a strangers house but we had been friends on facebook for a year and figured why not. It was a good night. I love Cielo drive. I love Benedict Canyon. I want to live there so bad!
You could see LA from the balcony and hear random pre-oscar parties in the distance. David also has Fosters on tap so we drank out of a stein.
He has the cutest 1960's mustard color chair (picture above) and some letters from Sharon to her mother he got from an auction. It was really very inspiring and amazing to hold that in my hand. He also had a "Prescription for Opium" letter from 1919. Awesome! His upstairs bathroom was decked out in Sharon photos.
Anyway, here is the new gate that leads to the Tate residence, now owned by Jeff Franklin (Producer of Full House)
